Our present Conductor, Edmund Moderacki, is retiring
after 48 years.

Revolutionary American Music
Ron Levy, Piano Soloist
The concert features George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with Ron Levy as the piano soloist. James Hewitt’s Battle of Trenton, a rare early American classical music composition will be performed in an arrangement by musicologist Jonathan Elkus. The Old Boatman by Florence Price and
The Clef Club March by James Reese Europe, both early Black
American composers, will be performed. Also on the concert will be
selections from the Broadway musical Damn Yankees and two patriotic marches by John Phillip Sousa.

Concerts start at 2:30 pm in the auditorium of
The Village School, 100 West Prospect Street,
Waldwick, NJ 07463. Admission is free.
The Village School is a fully accessible facility. Additional free parking is available at the Waldwick Town Pool, 500 feet north of the school at
44 Hopper Avenue in Waldwick.
